Lynbrook South Middle School,

Location:  Union Ave..Lynbrook
Times: K-3rd grade arrive at 9:00am, 9:30-12:00
4th-8th grade arrive around noon, 12:30-3:30

Events will be mostly relays with some Dashes

Directions:

Exit 17 off the Southern State Parkway, this is Hempstead Ave, take left fork onto Ocean ave, past Merrick Rd to Sunrise Highway. Right on Sunrise Highway, about 0.6 miles, under railroad tracks to Atlantic Ave (left turn south) and immediate right on fork to Union Ave. Go 3/4 miles and school is on the right, track is in the back. Only 60 parking spots, so you may have to park in the neighborhood.


Small stands around the track, so you may want to bring chairs.

Bathroom facilities will be available

Snack Bar will be available

1. Meadowbrook Pkwy south (exit 31A) Take exit M4W.
    

2.  Take the first right on the exit for Charles Lindbergh Boulevard.
    

3. Once on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard, follow signs to Mitchell Field Parking just past the Omni Building (first light) about 3/4 mile from Meadowbrook.

1. LIE West to New Hyde Park Road South.
    

2. Turn right on Jericho Trpk. (West).
    

3. Take Jericho Trpk .5 mile to Covert Ave (Dunkin Doughnuts on the right)
    

4. Make a left at Covert and go approx. 1 mile (over the railroad tracks).
    

5. Make a slight right on Tulip. The school is 500 Tulip Ave.

Sunrise Highway West to Robert Moses Causeway South  to exit RM2W. After you exit the first light is Montauk Highway continue to the third traffic light and make a left turn. The school will be on your left side. If you pass Good Samaritan Hospital you went to far.

Coming East or West on the Long Island Expressway: exit at Sagtikos parkway south (exit 53 south)- *remain on the Sagtikos Parkway eventually the road will split, stay in right lane which bears into Southern State Parkway going West- continue to Exit 40 (Robert Moses Causeway)- passing Sunrise Highway Exits. Move into right lane and continue to exit RM2W. After you exit the first light is Montauk Highway continue to the third traffic light and make a left turn. The school will be on your left side. If you pass Good Samaritan Hospital you went to far.

General Information:

1) Please bring a copy of your birth certificate
(if you qualify for the regional championships you will need to age verify)

2) Bring a check or cash -

if you qualify you will have to pay for the next round
and join the USATF (minimal charge)
3)Top 6 in each event move on to the Championship

4) Please wear your uniform.
